How SkillsNCR handles information.
SkillsNCR is an education initiative owned and operated by Nervescape Analytics LLP. This notice explains how we collect, use, share and protect information relating to parents, students, enquiries, diagnostics and learning services.
This notice covers information collected through skillsncr.com, enquiry and contact journeys, free diagnostic registrations where offered, parent and student registrations, SkillsNCR learning programmes, assessments and diagnostic tests, classes and learning activities, project submissions where applicable, learning and progress records, email and WhatsApp communication, and other SkillsNCR-operated registration or communication channels.
Where separate contractual, registration or programme-specific privacy or consent terms apply, those additional terms may also govern the relevant processing. If there is a conflict for a specific programme record, the more specific written terms for that engagement will usually apply to that processing.
Who we are
SkillsNCR is an education initiative owned and operated by Nervescape Analytics LLP (LLPIN: ACD-9814). Nervescape Analytics LLP operates skillsncr.com and the SkillsNCR services. SkillsNCR is not a separate incorporated company.
Registered office: H No 1759, Sector 7, Urban Estate, Karnal – 132001, Haryana, India.
Privacy contact: contact@skillsncr.com.
For personal data collected through SkillsNCR channels, Nervescape Analytics LLP acts as the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as data controller under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation where those regimes apply to the person concerned. This notice describes our practices; it does not claim certifications or regulatory approvals beyond what is stated here.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what is reasonably needed for education, diagnostics, support and administration. Categories depend on how you interact with SkillsNCR. The website contact journey currently routes most enquiries to WhatsApp or email rather than a self-contained web form database.
| What | When | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parent or guardian name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, enquiry details, preferred callback time and correspondence | You contact SkillsNCR by WhatsApp, email or another SkillsNCR channel about School support or a learner | To respond to the enquiry, schedule a conversation or diagnostic discussion, and administer learning support | Steps at your request prior to a contract; consent where required under the DPDP Act; legitimate interests in responding to parent-led enquiries |
| Student name (where collected), class/year, school or board where relevant, subjects or areas of interest, learning requirements and related context | Shared by a parent, guardian or authorised adult during an enquiry, registration or programme discussion | To understand learning need, assess fit and deliver appropriate educational support | Consent where required (including verifiable parental/guardian consent for children where applicable); steps prior to or performance of a learning arrangement |
| Diagnostic or assessment responses, scores, completion information, strengths, learning gaps and related review notes | A diagnostic, assessment or learning review is completed or discussed | To support feedback, intervention, progress reporting and appropriate programme recommendations — not to permanently label a learner or guarantee an academic result | Consent where required; steps prior to or performance of a learning arrangement; legitimate interests in delivering education services |
| Attendance, participation, project or assignment submissions, mentor feedback and learning/progress records | During classes, learning activities and programme delivery where applicable | To deliver learning, track progress, support parents/learners and maintain ordinary education administration records | Performance of a learning arrangement; consent where required; legitimate interests in programme administration |
| WorkReady / adult-pathway interest details, format interest, goal context and related WhatsApp or email correspondence | You enquire about WorkReady, GCC Academy or related professional pathways | To respond, discuss fit and, where relevant, continue a qualification or counselling conversation | Steps at your request prior to a contract; consent; legitimate interests |
| Employer, campus or partnership contact details and enquiry context | You enquire about WorkforceReady, CampusReady or related partnership conversations | To scope a pilot or partnership discussion and maintain ordinary business records | Steps at your request prior to a contract; legitimate interests; consent |
| Careers application details you choose to send (for example role interest and materials attached to an email) | You apply or enquire about working with SkillsNCR | To assess applications and communicate about opportunities | Steps at your request prior to a contract; legitimate interests; consent |
| Technical request information processed by hosting and security infrastructure (may include IP address, request headers and similar operational data) | You visit skillsncr.com or related SkillsNCR-operated sites | Security, delivery, abuse prevention and keeping the site working | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics and advertising identifiers and related measurement events where tags are active | You visit production SkillsNCR website pages with measurement tags enabled | To understand which pages help visitors, measure campaign performance and support digital marketing of SkillsNCR services | Legitimate interests; consent where required by applicable law or product settings |
We do not sell or rent parent or student personal information. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without meaningful human involvement. Diagnostic and assessment outputs support learning conversations; they do not permanently label a learner or guarantee academic, employment or commercial outcomes.
Please do not send passwords, one-time passwords, payment credentials, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information through unsolicited messages or public forms. Agree a secure route before sharing anything highly sensitive.
Children, students, parents and guardians
SkillsNCR provides educational services to school-age students, including Classes 5–12, and therefore may process information relating to children and other minors. School conversations are expected to be led by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult. A child’s own phone number or email is not required to begin a School conversation.
We aim to:
- involve a parent or guardian in School enquiries and enrolment decisions;
- obtain appropriate consent where required under applicable law before processing a child’s personal data;
- collect only information reasonably necessary for education, diagnostics, support and administration;
- avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information;
- respond to parental or guardian requests concerning a child’s information, subject to identity and authority checks;
- apply additional care to children’s data under relevant Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection framework where it applies.
If information appears to have been submitted without appropriate authorisation — for example, a child registering alone where parental involvement was required — contact us at contact@skillsncr.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We will take reasonable steps to verify the situation and delete, restrict or correct the record as appropriate.
Assessments, diagnostics and learning records
Where diagnostics, assessments or learning programmes are offered or delivered, SkillsNCR may retain assessment responses, diagnostic results, scores, chapter or subject strengths, learning gaps, progress information, project submissions, attendance or participation records, mentor feedback and learning history.
These records are used to support learning, feedback, intervention, progress reporting to authorised parents or guardians where appropriate, and programme recommendations. Public diagnostic products may be paused, redirected or replaced from time to time; when a diagnostic is not live on the website, related conversations may continue through Contact or WhatsApp instead.
Assessment outputs are educational tools. They do not permanently label a learner and do not guarantee board results, grades, admissions, employment, placement or income.
Cookies and tracking
Production SkillsNCR website pages may load Google Tag Manager and related measurement tags. In practice this can include analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics identifiers) and advertising or remarketing technologies (including Google Ads / conversion and remarketing tags). Cloudflare may also process technical information and, where enabled, operational performance beacons.
Essential or operational technologies are used to deliver and protect the site. Analytics and advertising tags, where active, help us understand site use and measure marketing performance. Browser controls and any consent tools presented on the site or by your browser may limit optional cookies. Preview or reference environments may run without production tags.
We do not design SkillsNCR School content as behavioural advertising directed at children. Adult-pathway and general SkillsNCR marketing measurement may still run on shared website infrastructure. If you prefer not to receive non-essential promotional communications from SkillsNCR, ask us to stop using the contact details you provided.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to operate SkillsNCR. Recipients may include authorised SkillsNCR personnel, Nervescape Analytics LLP personnel supporting SkillsNCR operations, service providers acting on our instructions, professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality, authorities where legally required, and parties involved in a legitimate corporate reorganisation where applicable. We do not sell or rent parent or student personal information.
Service providers actually used in SkillsNCR operations include categories such as:
| Provider / category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, delivery, security and related infrastructure processing for skillsncr.com and SkillsNCR Workers |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics / Insights (where enabled) | Operational performance and site-delivery measurement |
| Google Tag Manager | Loading and managing measurement and marketing tags on production pages |
| Google Analytics / Google advertising tags (where configured in GTM) | Site analytics, conversion measurement and advertising/remarketing related to SkillsNCR campaigns |
| WhatsApp / Meta Platforms | Messaging when you choose WhatsApp; Meta may also process Instant Form / lead information where you submit a Meta lead form for SkillsNCR |
| Cloudflare D1 (operational databases used by SkillsNCR messaging systems) | Storing WhatsApp journey, contact and related operational records needed to run those services |
| Email service providers used for SkillsNCR mailboxes | Delivering and receiving enquiry, careers and service-related email |
Learning or class platforms and payment services may be used for specific programmes when those services are part of the engagement. Where that happens, the relevant programme materials or enrolment terms will identify the additional provider where practical.
Communications and WhatsApp
SkillsNCR uses WhatsApp prominently for parent and learner enquiries. When you choose WhatsApp, WhatsApp / Meta’s own terms and privacy notice also apply to processing on their platform.
We may use the contact details you provide to respond to an enquiry, schedule diagnostics or conversations, communicate programme information and send service-related messages. You can request that non-essential promotional communications stop by emailing contact@skillsncr.com.
Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information through unsolicited WhatsApp messages.
International transfers
Nervescape Analytics LLP is based in India. If you are outside India — including in the UK or EEA — your information may be processed outside your region through hosting, messaging, email, analytics or advertising providers. We use providers under contractual terms appropriate to the transfer where required. Under the DPDP Rules, transfers may be restricted to countries the Indian government notifies; we will comply with any such restriction.
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as responding to enquiries, diagnostics, delivering learning programmes, maintaining appropriate progress history, parent and student support, administration, dispute handling, safeguarding, accounting and record-keeping, and legal obligations.
Short-term enquiry records are typically kept only as long as needed to respond and for ordinary administration, then deleted or anonymised. Active student and programme records are kept for the duration of the learning relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, safeguarding and legal purposes. Records we are legally required to keep are retained for the statutory period. We have not published fixed day-count retention schedules on this page; programme-specific retention may be stated in enrolment materials where approved.
Your rights
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you rights that may include obtaining information about processing, correction and updating, erasure, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, grievance redressal, and nomination of another person to exercise rights on your behalf where applicable.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests), and withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to your supervisory authority — for example the ICO in the UK.
To exercise a right, or to withdraw consent, email contact@skillsncr.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may need to verify your identity and, for children’s records, your relationship or authority concerning the learner. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled information, contact us at contact@skillsncr.com. We will acknowledge promptly and work to resolve the matter. Under the DPDP Rules, unresolved grievances may be taken to the Data Protection Board of India once that redressal route is available as provided by law.
Security and breaches
We apply reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, including access controls on a least-privilege basis, encryption in transit for website and common messaging channels, restricted internal access to learner and parent records, and account and device controls for our team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
If a personal data breach occurs that requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India without undue delay where required, including the nature of the breach and the steps we are taking.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged on this page. Continued use of SkillsNCR services after an update means the revised notice applies to subsequent processing, except where consent or a separate written term requires otherwise.
